How It all Started
The idea for Rockhopper Brewery started back in 2022, when Luke began brewing beer at home. After one too many tasting sessions, we realised something — it was bloody good! So good, in fact, that we knew we had to share it with the people of North Devon and bring the kind of vibrant craft beer scene you’d normally only find in city taprooms.
At Rockhopper, we’re proud to do things differently. Our taproom has an eco-conscious heart, with everything built and upcycled in-house. The bar? It used to be a $4 million print box. The tables? Made from scaffolding boards and poles. Even our food follows the same ethos — we source local ingredients and turn brewery waste into delicious, sustainable dishes, all crafted by Biff from Biffen’s Kitchen.
We’re here to give your taste buds a break from the same old pints. You’ll find four house-brewed beers on tap, alongside a rotating selection of local guest brews, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks — because great company deserves great choice.
Our first brew is set to pour in May 2026, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
